5 Years of Using NaSaDen Luggage

This is a follow up from my original review of Nasaden blog back in 2018. Check that one out, too.

5 years later and my four-piece Nasaden collection is still going strong (two large, one carry-on, and one travel tote). I’m a loyal customer after being disappointed by several other brands in previous years before I discovered NaSaDen. I didn’t really need a new carry-on, but then I saw their new designs… and I’m happy to be collaborating with the company again sharing my experiences with you all.

Also, if you’re in the market to purchase a 22-inch Carry-on (the main piece of luggage I use), please use the link above (or here) with the promo code “emilyphoto” to receive a 15% discount.

Having subpar luggage when you fly and travel internationally quite a bit is… well… a terrible idea. Trust me from my own experience of lugging wheels down rainy London cobblestone streets, down wet slippery Highland tracks to your bothy, or worrying about your luggage zipper breaking while on your trip because you use every ounce of space.

I’m not fragile with my luggage. I also use it a fair amount for lugging my photography equipment to and from jobs, not just while traveling. So, it takes some heavy usage and survived thousands of travel miles and countless airports and cars. I’ve – knock on wood – never had a wheel or zipper or anything else break on my NaSaDen Luggage. It handles overpacking like a champ.

When I fly, I rarely check any luggage. I usually pack weeks of travel within my one carry-on and my camera bag. But, this maiden voyage of my new carry-on, I decided to check it on our Spirit Airlines flight back from NYC and see how it held up. Surprisingly no scratches or dings…. yet!

I love the new designs NaSaDen is now offering. I wanted both the cat design and the floral design (well, actually also this one, this one, and this one, but I digress….) but ultimately chose the Stripe Cats because I’m leaning heavily into my cat lady persona with 3 cats inside our house and two “barn” cats outside. Seeing these little whimsical kitty faces on my luggage while we’re traveling away from our cats somehow makes it better….

Also worth noting is the storage cover for when you don’t want your carry-on investment getting dinged in-between trips (you could probably use it while you’re traveling, too, but I haven’t). I also love the TSA approved lock system and the spinner wheels. It’s lightweight and durable luggage that rolls like a dream on all surfaces and angles.

Watch my cats unbox the new carry-on here. I think they did a pretty good job, if I do say so myself.

Anyway, it’s clear I’m passionate about luggage. I’m really pleased and relieved to see that NaSaDen continues with innovating their designs and their reliability. I’m glad I never have to research another luggage company ever again ….
